PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroconductive rubber composition having a low hardness and excellent flexibility, a low compression set and excellent processability in grinding, and capable of forming a roller body capable of finishing an outer peripheral surface to a predetermined surface roughness without leaving grinding marks in once-wet traverse grinding; and to provide a developing roller having the roller body formed using the same.SOLUTION: The electroconductive rubber composition is prepared by blending 20 to 70 pts.mass of GECO having an ethylene oxide content of ≥70 mol% and a Mooney viscosity of <60 ML(1+4)100°C, 10 to 40 pts.mass of NBR, a balance of CR, and predetermined proportions of sulfur as a crosslinking agent, a thiazole-based crosslinking accelerator, a thiuram-based crosslinking accelerator, a thiourea-based crosslinking accelerator and a guanidine-based crosslinking accelerator. The developing roller 1 has a roller body 2 composed of the electroconductive rubber composition. |
