In a defragmentation process, a storage area determining unit (23) determines, among storage areas reserved in a RAM (12), currently used logical storage areas, in each of which stored data has to be assured, and currently unused logical storage areas, in each of which stored data does not have to be assured. An area reallocating unit (24) allocates a single physical storage area to a plurality of consecutive ones of the currently unused logical storage areas determined by the storage area determining unit (23). An address managing unit (25) performs an address mapping between the plurality of currently unused consecutive logical storage areas and the single physical storage area allocated to the plurality of currently unused consecutive logical storage areas. |
