<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a wireless communication device and a wireless communication method with which it is possible to obtain an empty communication channel, by means of a simple construction. In the present invention, wireless communication is carried out with a partner device by using Bluetooth. The communication state in the wireless communication with this partner device, for example the packet type of a communication packet being used, is acquired by a state acquisition means. On the basis of the acquired packet type, an empty communication channel that can be used is calculated by a channel calculation means. Notification information including empty communication channel information relating to the empty communication channel calculated is output by, for example, a display output means or an audio output means.</p> |
