<p>[Problem] To provide a wire inversion mechanism having a structure with which it is possible to maintain an attitude of a time when a terminal is swaged even when a wire is inverted in a U-shape, a structure wherein said mechanism may be added after the fact to an already installed wire terminal processing device which does not comprise a terminal wire inversion mechanism wire inversion mechanism, a structure which is capable of being miniaturized, and a structure which is capable of high-speed operation. [Solution] A wire inversion mechanism comprises: a support column (12) which is anchored upon a platform (11) of a wire terminal processing device (10) and extends upward; a substrate (13) which is supported by the support column (12) and extends horizontally above the wire terminal processing device (10); and wire clasping means (30, 70) which are supported by the substrate for moving along a prescribed track which extends in a U-shape. A guide means for guiding the movement of the wire clasping means (30, 70) is a guide member (65) which is supported either by a recessed groove (14) which is whittled in the lower face of the substrate (13) or else below the substrate (13). To move the wire clasping means (30, 70), either a combination of a motor drive rotating body (21) and a revolving body (23), or a timing belt (63) which is wound by a pair of pulleys (61, 62), is used.</p> |
