PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a pattern to be formed on a medium to be conveyed in an image forming device from visually affecting a toner image, for measuring a conveyance speed of the medium.SOLUTION: In an image forming section 10Y, a developing part 14Y develops a latent image with toner that absorbs light of wavelength of 380-480nm more easily than light of wavelength of 480-750nm. The image forming sections 10M, 10C, 10K are arranged downstream of the image forming section 10Y. A pattern forming section 110 forms a pattern PT on a medium P by the image forming section 10Y. A pattern detection section 40 optically detects the pattern PT on the upstream side of the image forming sections 10M, 10C, 10K. A timing control section 120 executes control on the basis of a detection result of the pattern detection section 40. |
