PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector with an electric wire cover in which whether a clip is properly attached by more reliable means other than visual observation, and a risk that a product is flown while the clip is not engaged can be avoided.SOLUTION: A connector with an electric wire cover comprises: a connector housing 10; an electric wire cover 30 mounted to a rear part of the connector housing 10; and a clip 70 slid from a rear part toward a front part on a lower face of the connector housing 10 before the electric cover 30 is mounted, and mounted to the lower face of the connector housing 10. The electric wire cover 30 is provided with a non-engagement detection part 50 for making it impossible to mount the electric wire cover 30 to the connector housing 10 by interfering with the clip 70 when the clip 70 does not reach a position for properly engaging with the connector housing 10. The non-engagement detection part 50 restrains backward movement of the clip 70 by shielding a rear part of the clip 70 when the electric cover 30 is mounted to the connector housing 10. |
