PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress in advance a damage accident of a submarine cable by an anchor casted.SOLUTION: In a case where a submarine cable 11 is laid in a channel which a marine vessel 31 navigates, a marine vessel anchorage monitoring system determines entrance and exit of the marine vessel 31 into/from a monitoring marine area WA at positions of two boundaries defining the monitoring marine area WA, portion pointed out by optical axes LA of laser beams. In a case where the marine vessel 31 has entered into the monitoring marine area WA by passing through one boundary and has not yet exited from the monitoring marine area WA by passing through the other boundary notwithstanding that a certain period of time has elapsed, the marine vessel anchorage monitoring system estimates anchorage of the marine vessel 31 in the monitoring marine area WA, and performs alarm display at timing of estimation on displays 51, 51R and 51L, installed at positions where the displays 51, 51R and 51L, can be visually recognized from sea of the monitoring marine area WA to call crew's attention to the submarine cable 11. |
