PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a camera (imaging apparatus) which prevents a user from dropping it and also is unlikely to break.SOLUTION: A fall detection unit detects a fall. When a fall is detected, a recording control unit records state information in a recording unit. The recording unit is located in the imaging apparatus, or the outside, for instance, on a cloud. For instance, when a collapsible zoom lens is included, recorded state information may include at least positional information on the collapsible zoom lens. Thus, the use state of the user when the imaging apparatus falls can be grasped, to contribute to development of a camera which prevents a user from dropping it and also is unlikely to break. |
