PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealant for a liquid crystal display device excellent in adhesive property to a substrate, capable of suppressing peeling after curing, and hardly causing liquid crystal contamination; and a vertical conduction material using the sealant for a liquid crystal display device; and a liquid crystal display device.SOLUTION: A sealant for a liquid crystal display device contains a curing resin, and polymerization initiator and/or a thermal curing agent; and the curing resin contains a phenoxy resin having an unsaturated double bond on a side chain.
