PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent lowering of a function as a flow-down liquid membrane type evaporator resulting from generation of partial dry faces on surfaces of heat conductive pipes.SOLUTION: A casing 20 has an evaporation space sq1 inside thereof, an inlet space sq2, a folded space sq3 and an outlet space sq4, and has a cylindrical shape extending in a horizontal direction. A heat conductive pipe group 30 extends in the horizontal direction in the evaporation space sq1 of the casing 20, and comprises a plurality of heat conductive pipes 30a, 30b, ..., 39j which are laminated in multiple stages and in multiple rows. A liquid refrigerant flow-down part 50 evaporates a liquid refrigerant by exchanging heat between the liquid refrigerant and water in the heat conductive pipes 30a, 30b, ..., 39j by making the liquid refrigerant flow down from above the heat conductive pipe group 30. A plurality of both-side heat conductive pipes 44, 45 located in rows at both sides of the heat conductive pipe group 30 in a vertical cross section view of the casing 20 out of the heat conductive pipe group 30 belong to the inlet-side heat conductive pipe 41 much more than those to the outlet-side heat conductive pipe 42. |
