The method involves exposing region of support material (1) of electromagnetic radiation (3) to form strip conductor structure by metallization. The support material is provided with coating (2) to selectively expose dispersion of particles of active substance of the coating in the support material due to the thermalized optical energy. The proportion of the non-dispersed particles of active substance is enclosed by support material, so that metal deposited on the exposed areas is separated to manufacture strip conductor structure. An independent claim is included for strip conductor structure.
