PURPOSE: An openable tent device is provided to protect a workplace from rain and snow by opening or closing the top of the workplace and to minimize the effects on work while being opened. CONSTITUTION: An openable tent device comprises first and second rails (11), a post (13), cover sheets (21,22), a transport device (30), and winding devices (50,60). The first and second rails are separately arranged on the top of a workplace to be in parallel to each other. The rails are supported by a plurality of posts. A cover sheet covers a gap between the first and second rails. The transport device drives along the first and second rails to spread or collect the cover sheet.
