PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: crystalline forms or polymorphs of N-hydroxy-3-[4-[[[2-(2-methyl-1H-indol-3-yl)ethyl]amino]methyl]phenyl]-2E-2-propenamide; methods of making the same; pharmaceutical compositions comprising the same; and methods of treatment using the same.SOLUTION: This invention relates to substantially pure anhydrous crystal (form A) of N-hydroxy-3-[4-[[[2-(2-methyl-1H-indol-3-yl)ethyl]amino]methyl]phenyl]-2E-2-propenamide lactate.
