PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect an electronic circuit and a circuit board from electromagnetic noise in an electronic control device where the electronic circuit is sealed by a metal base and a resin cover.SOLUTION: A housing of an electronic control device according to this invention includes a side wall enclosing a circuit board and an electronic circuit from the lateral side. The side wall extends to a position higher than a ground layer of the circuit board and an upper surface of the thickest electronic circuit and also extends to a position lower than the ground layer in a height direction.
