PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide high-purity safinamide or ralfinamide that is active as a therapeutic agent, and a salt thereof with a pharmaceutically acceptable acid, and a manufacturing method for the same.SOLUTION: There are provided high-purity safinamide and ralfinamide that are (S)-2-[3-(3-fluorobenzyl)-4-(3-fluorobenzyloxy)benzylamino]propanamide (Ia) and (S)-2-[3-(2-fluorobenzyl)-4-(2-fluorobenzyloxy)benzylamino]propanamide (Ib), respectively or a salt thereof with a pharmaceutically acceptable acid and contain less than 0.03% of impurities and a salt thereof. |
