PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging system enabling easy acquisition of a desired image without the need to set an imaging point in advance.SOLUTION: An imaging system comprises: an imaging device that is mounted on a moving body; a position detection unit that acquires position data on the current position of the moving body; and a control unit that calculates a distance between the acquired position data and imaging position data on an imaging position corresponding to the position of a subject, and when the distance is smaller than a preset predetermined value, controls the imaging device to image the subject. An example of the imaging device is an omnidirectional imaging camera. Another example of the imaging device is an imaging device placed on a cradle whose imaging direction can be changed at least in a panning direction. |
