PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathtub cover used as a device for sealingly retaining the heat of a bathtub which is readily mounted on a bathtub, is excellent in blocking, heat insulating, heat keeping, and sealing performances, and has a strength for evading an accident on a human body, and to provide an installation method thereof.SOLUTION: A cover mounted on and removed from an opening portion or large surface opening portion of a bath or bathtub portion 9, is installed on the top of the bathtub. Based on vacuum technology, the bathtub cover 1 for sealingly retaining heat and insulating heat prevents flowing out of a liquid from the opening portion or large surface opening portion of the bathtub, the reduction of temperature, radiation of heat energy from the surface of the liquid, and the damage of the human body due to breakage of the cover, inhibits energy consumption, saves energy, and prevents product accident. |
