PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste water purification apparatus for hydroponic systems, inexpensive and excellent in maintainability.SOLUTION: In the waste water purification apparatus, a hydroponic system (10) thereof includes a cultivation bed (101) for planting plants, an introduction pipe (52) for introducing a nutrient solution to the cultivation bed (101), a discharge pipe (53) for discharging the nutrient solution out of the system (10) as a waste solution, and a waste solution purification unit (60) for purifying the waste solution. The waste solution purification unit (60) has a discharge unit (62) for generating discharge in the waste solution and an ultrasonic wave generating unit (94) for irradiating the waste solution with ultrasonic waves. The discharge unit (62) is constituted to comprise an electrode pair (64, 65, 464, 465, 564, 565, 664, 665) for generating discharge for generating hydrogen peroxide through hydroxy radicals in the waste solution, and a power source unit (70), and the ultrasonic wave generating unit (94) is constituted so as to convert hydrogen peroxide in the waste solution to hydroxy radicals. |
