PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make charging available only to a specific person.SOLUTION: A control section controls a reader/writer to generate an automobile ID reading signal comprising a high frequency signal to read out an automobile ID recorded in an ID circuit, and supplies it to a high pass filter. The high pass filter superimposes the reading signal or writing signal comprising a high frequency signal on a power supply line to feed a high pass filter via an outlet, a plug and a power supply line. The latter high pass filter supplies the automobile ID reading signal comprising a high frequency signal to the ID circuit. On the basis of the reading signal, the ID circuit sends the automobile ID stored in an IC chip built therein as a reading response signal to a charger back via the path. If the automobile ID in the response signal is authentic, an authentication section of the control section turns a changeover switch on to charge a battery of an electric vehicle with power superimposed by a low pass filter. The technique can be applied to a power supply system. |
