Abstract The present invention provides a new saw blade. The saw blade allows efficient cutting of material and an accurate start to cutting. Specifically the saw blade comprises a starting portion of teeth and a working portion of teeth, wherein the working portion is of sufficient length and has teeth with a pitch of suitable size to enable efficient cutting of said material and wherein the starting portion is of smaller length and has teeth with a suitable sized pitch to enable an accurate and/or neat start to the cut and wherein the portions are contiguous.
