PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for sealing not containing lead, having a low glass transition point, difficult to be crystallized in a coating step, and capable of improving adhesion between a sealing material and a light emitting element, and to provide a phosphor composite material, a light emitting device, and methods for producing them.SOLUTION: This composition for sealing contains, in mole% display based on oxides, ≥5% to ≤90% TeO, ≥0.1% to ≤40% AlO, and ≥0% to ≤40% RnO (wherein, Rn is one kind or more selected from Li, Na, K, Rb and Cs), wherein the value of the ratio AlO/TeOin mole% display based on oxides is ≥0.01. |
