PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the propagation of bacteria in an electrolytic cell, in an ionized water generator which generates ionized water by the electrolysis of water.SOLUTION: An electrode unit part (1) and an ultrasonic generation part (94) are provided to an electrolytic cell (20). The electrode unit part (1) is configured to form a current pathway including a discharge field between the electrode pair (2, 3) by applying a voltage from a power source (4) to the electrode pair (2, 3) to generate an electrolysis in water in the electrolytic cell (20), and also to generate a hydroxide radical by discharge generated in the discharge field. The ultrasonic generation part (94) converts hydrogen peroxide generated by change of the hydroxide radical generated in water into the hydroxide radical by irradiating water with ultrasonic waves. |
