PURPOSE: An overflow preventer for a container is provided to prevent contents from exceeding from a container by opening an upper part and a lower part, and by forming an overflow preventing surface of a disk form which becomes narrow from an upper part to a lower part of a heat-resisting elastic member, and by forming multiple input output grooves on an overflow preventing surface. CONSTITUTION: An overflow preventer for a container comprises an overflow preventing surface (50) of a disk form, a bump (70), and more than at least one protruding line (60). The overflow preventing surface opens an upper part and a lower part, and becomes narrow from an upper part to a lower part. The overflow preventing surface is a heat-resisting elastic member, and multiple slots (51) are formed in the overflow preventing surface. The bump is extended upward along an upper circumference of the overflow preventing surface. The protruding line is formed along a lower circumference of the overflow preventing surface.
