PURPOSE: A mobile terminal is provided to arrange writable icons or logos on a metallic surface. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal comprises a body including a light source; a touch sensor to detect a touch input; and an image module (240) overlapped with the touch sensor and providing an icon corresponding to the touch input. The image module includes a first layer formed of a light-transmissive material and having image and pattern of the icon, which are formed in three dimensions; a second layer overlapping the first layer to cover the pattern; and an image hole formed in a position corresponding to the image by removing a corresponding portion of the second layer so that light from the light source reaches the image.
