Disclosed herein is an apparatus for moving an item. The apparatus comprises a mounting portion for mounting the moving apparatus to a surface, slidable arms adapted to slide relative to the mounting portion, scissor arms adapted to connect a platform to the slidable arms, and a lever operable to raise and lower the platform relative to the slidable arms. The platform is adapted to receive the item thereon, and is slidable between a storage position and an accessible position, and raisable and lowerable relative to the slidable arms whilst in the accessible position. |
