摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid injection device that has a small environment load and a large displacement amount.SOLUTION: A liquid injection device that discharges liquid from nozzle openings includes: piezoelectric elements comprising piezoelectric layers and electrodes provided on the piezoelectric layers; and driving means for supplying driving waveforms 200 for driving the piezoelectric elements to the piezoelectric elements. Each of the piezoelectric layers is composed of a composite oxide of a perovskite structure containing bismuth, iron, barium and titanium. Each of the driving waveforms 200 includes: a polarization step P01 of applying a first voltage Vm not less than a coercive voltage to one of the electrodes and bringing the piezoelectric layer into a polarization state; an alleviation step P02 of applying a voltage V1 having a polarity opposite to that of the first voltage Vm thereto from an application state of the first voltage Vm and alleviating polarization of the piezoelectric layer; and a discharge step P03 of applying a voltage P05 higher than the first voltage Vm thereto from an application state of the voltage V1 having the opposite polarity and discharging the liquid.
