PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water supply system capable of sufficiently sterilizing and purifying water in a water flow path, even if the water in the water flow path has a comparatively high temperature.SOLUTION: A water purification unit 60 of a hot water supply system has a water purification flow path 61 connected to a water flow path, a pair of electrodes 64, 65 causing electric discharge in water in the water purification flow path 61, an electric power supply 70 for applying voltage to the pair of electrodes 64, 65, and an ultrasonic wave generation part 94, and is constituted to generate hydroxyl radical in water in the water purification flow path 61 by electric discharge. The hot water supply system is provided with a heating part and a control part for controlling the heating part and the water purification unit 60 so that the water purification unit 60 starts electric discharging after the heating part has started operation to heat water. The ultrasonic wave generation part 94 transforms hydrogen peroxide produced as hydroxyl radical produced in water has changed, to hydroxyl radical, by irradiation with ultrasonic waves into the water. |
