PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger configured to easily connect many tubes to a header, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A header 10 is formed of a plurality of header members 11 as split members to be joined with each other in an axial direction. A cutout part 14 forming a part of a connection hole 10a is formed in a joining end face of each header member 11. The connection hole 10a is formed of the cutout part 14 of one header member 11 and the cutout part 14 of the other header member 11, while the header members are joined with each other. The header members 11 and the tubes 20 are alternately stacked so that the end of each tube 20 is engaged with the cutout part 14 of the header member 11, to form the header 10, in which the ends of the tubes are connected to the connection holes 10a. Each tube 20 can be easily connected to the header 10. |
