<p>In the light irradiation device of the scanning endoscopic apparatus, the back end of the lens optical system is located separated from the leading end of the light fiber by a first dimension in the direction of the leading end. The lens-side opposing part of a lens-side cylindrical part faces the fiber-side opposing part of a fiber-side cylindrical part separated from the fiber-side opposing part by a second dimension, which is smaller than the first dimension, in the direction of the leading end. The inner circumferential edge of the lens-side opposing part is located to the inside of the outer circumferential edge of the fiber-side opposing part, and the outer circumferential edge of the lens-side opposing part is located to the outside of the inner circumferential edge of the fiber-side opposing part. The base end of the lens optical system and the leading end of the light fiber are located between the leading edge and the back edge of a window in the direction parallel to the longitudinal axis.</p> |
