<p>The two-dimensional three-dimensional camera has a light retention time sensor (20) for recording depth information, a video sensor (50) for recording image information and two evaluation units (120,150) for generating two object lists. The former object list is formed from the depth information and the latter object list is formed from the image information. A control unit (160) is connected with the two evaluation units and is configured to generate a safety signal and a security parameter for an object in the object list, if the object is determined in both objects lists.
