<p>A liquid crystal display device (100), comprising a pixel array; the pixel array comprises a plurality of pixels; each pixel comprises a first pixel electrode (270) and a second pixel electrode (260); the first pixel electrode (270) comprises a plurality of first pixel electrode stripes (271-275, 271a-274a); and the second pixel electrode (260) comprises a plurality of second pixel electrode stripes (261-266, 261a-266a); the first pixel electrode stripes (271-275, 271a-274a) are interleaved with the second pixel electrode stripes (261-266, 261a-266a), so as to define a plurality of electrode gaps (P1-P8) therebetween; and each electrode gap (P1-P8) is defined between two adjacent first pixel electrode stripe (271-275, 271a-274a) and second pixel electrode stripe (261-266, 261a-266a), and has a width. In one embodiment, the width of at least one of the electrode gaps (P1-P8) is different from that of the other electrode gaps. In another embodiment, the width of each electrode gap (P1-P8) varies in the extension direction of a reference line between adjacent first pixel electrode stripe (271-275, 271a-274a) and second pixel electrode stripe (261-266, 261a-266a).</p> |
