<p>A lamp control system for use in a lighting system comprises a lamp (15) and a user-operated switch (3) for controlling operation of the lamp. The system comprises detection means (11) operable to detect operation of the switch and to generate an output indicative thereof; and driver means (12, 13, 14), responsive to the output, and operable to adjust the output colour of the lamp. The detector means may detect a pattern of operations of the switch and adjust the output colour of the lamp in response thereto. The lamp may be an LED lamp.</p> |
