PURPOSE: An expansion footbridge for a bridge is provided to prevent a deck unit from being bent or being transformed by impact. CONSTITUTION: An expansion footbridge comprises a fixing bracket (110), a connection bar (120), a deck unit (130), a protection handrail, and a tension maintaining unit. One end of the fixing bracket is fixed to one end of an upper plate of a bridge (10) and one side of a curb (11) so that a plurality of the fixing bracket is included. The connection bar connects the fixing brackets and prevents the fixing bracket from being transformed or being bent. The tension maintaining unit connects the bottom of the fixing brackets and maintains a tension state.
