PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data recording device that allows a management device to easily manage replacement time of a plurality of recording media.SOLUTION: A method of operational procedures of an on-vehicle device 10 comprises the steps of: reading-out a number of times of writing recorded on a memory card 25 when one hour has elapsed, (S2); calculating a remaining number of times of writing and a number of times of writing per one hour from the number of times of wiring and a previous number of times of writing stored in an SDRAM 13, (S3); and transmitting data to a vehicle management device 30 installed at an office 70 when the remaining number of times of writing is 100 times or less, (S5). A method of operational procedures of the vehicle management device 30 comprises the steps of: calculating scheduled reaching time required to reach a limited number of times of writing from the remaining number of times of writing and the number of times of writing per one hour, (S32); and updating a recording medium life monitoring table 55 and performing warning when the scheduled reaching time is set time or less, (S34). |
