PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a number of photo-interrupters.SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises: a process cartridge 18 attached/detached to/from a main body casing 2 that is a housing; a high-voltage power supply circuit 110 that applies a voltage to the process cartridge 18 mounted in the casing 2; a contact 200 that switches on/off in response to a use state of the process cartridge 18; an input port P4 connected to a power supply line via the contact 200 that electrically connects the high-voltage power supply circuit 110 to the process cartridge 18; and a control device 100. The control device 100 performs determination processing for determining the use state of the process cartridge 18 from a detection value of the input port P4. |
