PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To selectively display a plurality of documents in a portable terminal device, according to a residual quantity of a battery.SOLUTION: A document display system comprises a server and a portable terminal device which displays documents distributed by the server. The server comprises a distribution unit which distributes documents to the terminal device according to a distribution plan in which the plurality of documents to be distributed and a distribution order are specified, an acquisition unit which acquires information indicating a residual quantity of a battery which is an electric source of the terminal device from the terminal device, and a change unit which changes the distribution plan so that at least a part of undistributed documents will not be distributed when the residual quantity of the battery indicated by the information which is acquired by the acquisition unit is less than a preset value. The terminal device comprises a display, a display control unit which sequentially displays the distributed documents on the display and a transmission unit which transmits the information indicating the residual quantity of the battery to the server. |
