A centralized control/monitoring system includes: an information collecting unit that collects general information on a patient, information from a respirator, information from a defibrillator, information from an intravenous injection monitor, and information from a nebulizer; a monitor unit that displays the collected information; an examining unit that examines whether the collected information has something meaningful; an alerting unit that issues an alert if the examining unit determines that a patient has a problem; and a recording unit that records the collected information. Thus, it is possible to monitor information from various kinds of medical apparatuses in a centralized manner.
