CORYNEBACTERIUM SP. HAVING XYLOSE AVAILABILITY AND PROCESS FOR PREPARING L-LYSINE EMPLOYING THE SAME

PURPOSE: Corynebacterium species microorganism is provided to be able to be widely used in efficiently and economically producing L-lysine as Corynebacterium species microorganism is able to produce L-lysine using xylose, which is the secondly abundant wooden carbohydrate in the nature. CONSTITUTION: Modified Corynebacterium species microorganism capable of producing L-lysine by using xylose is that Erwinia carotovora originated xylose isomerase (XylA) and xylulokinase (XylB) activation is introduced. XylA includes amino acid sequence of Sequence no. 1 and XylB includes amino acid sequence of Sequence no. 2. A production method of L-lysine comprises (i) a step of culturing modified Corynebacterium species microorganism capable of producing L-lysine by using xylose in a culture medium containing xylose as a carbon source, and yielding the cultured product; and (ii) a step of collecting L-lysine from the cultured product.
