<p>The equipment (1) i.e. press brake (2), has bending tools (36, 37) arranged behind one another in a longitudinal extension (47) of press bars (15, 16) that are aligned parallel to each other. A control device (59) is connected with a driving apparatus (58) for influencing the performance of the equipment. A positioning unit (45) fastens position of the bending tools relative to the longitudinal extension of the press bars. The positioning unit comprises a laser range finder (48) based on application of acoustic or electromagnetic waves. The press bars are made of metal sheet. An independent claim is also included for a method for equipping a production equipment with bending tools.</p> |
