PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting method for further naturally connecting two ortho images. SOLUTION: An approximation degree calculation program (12a) calculates an approximation degree within a search range of an overlap part of two ortho image data (30) stored in a hard disk device (24). An approximation degree binarization program (12b) binarizes the approximation degree within the search range with a maximum threshold, a labeling processing program (12c) performs labeling, and a thinning program (12d) performs thinning. An unspecified search line search program (12e) or a start point-specified connecting line search program (12f) sets, while searching a close label in a direction along a connecting line determination reference line, a connecting line within a searched label. With respect to a jump section, labeling processing and thinning are performed with a reduced threshold of approximate value, and it is repeated to set, while searching the close label in the direction along the connecting line determination reference line, the connecting line within the search label.
