PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a square circuit for correcting a gain change due to a temperature change. SOLUTION: In the square circuit, a temperature compensation circuit comprises: a reference level generation circuit 4 generating a reference level V4 to a square circuit 3; a square circuit 5 for inputting the reference level V4; a reference level generation circuit 6 generating reference levels V6-1, V6-2; a comparison circuit 7 comparing an output level V5 of the square circuit 5 and the reference levels V6-1, V6-2; a storage circuit 8 storing comparison result signals C1, C2 output by the comparison circuit 7; and a gain adjustment circuit 9 for inputting gain changeover signals G1, G2 output by the storage circuit 8, and performing gain adjustment of the square circuit 3.
