<p>In order to reduce the increase of costs related to installation and maintenance of signal equipment, the present invention provides a train control system having a power supply for supplying power from a power plant to a train, wherein a timing of power supply or a voltage waveform of supplied power is controlled for each track number in a railway station where power supply is performed electrically independently or for each section where power supply can be cut off on the track on which the train travels, so as to utilize the supplied power also as a signal for specifying the range of position of the train within the track.</p> |
