<p>An absorbent article (10) having leg elastic channels formed in standing-gather webs. The leg elastic channels contain leg elastic material (36) which is intermittently bonded to the standing-gather webs in the channels. The leg elastic channels overlap side panels in overlap regions (60, 62). The leg elastic material is unaffixed to the standing-gather webs in the overlap regions so that the absorbent article is not gathered in the overlap regions.</p> |
