<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor apparatus for improving a dynamic range. <P>SOLUTION: A detection circuit 3 includes: a first voltage/current converter 4 which outputs a current corresponding to the magnitude of a sensor output from a sensor 2; an integrator 5 for integrating the output of the voltage/current converter 4; an AD converter 6 which quantizes an output of the integrator 5 and outputs a result as a digital value; a signal processor 7 which processes the output of the AD converter 6 and generates an output signal for a sensor apparatus 1; a DA converter 8 for converting the digital signal into an analog signal; and a second voltage/current converter 9 which causes a current corresponding to the magnitude of an output of the DA converter 8 to flow. The detection circuit is configured to feed back the output of the AD converter 6 by the DA converter 8 and the second voltage/current converter 9. The DA converter 8 receives a carry flag, which is generated when an input at the AD converter 6 exceeds a predetermined value, drives the voltage/current converter 9 and extracts a current from the integrator 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
