摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information reading apparatus capable of irradiating a near area side near a reading port with low angle rays of light, and irradiating even a far area side far from the reading port with illuminating rays of light, and supplying the rays of light to both the near and far areas. <P>SOLUTION: The optical information reading apparatus 1 includes: a light receiving sensor 28 for receiving reflected rays of light fetched to the inside of a reading port 3: a first illumination device 21 for irradiating an information code with the first illuminating rays of light through the reading port 3; and a second illumination device 22 for irradiating the information code with the second illuminating rays of light. Furthermore, the second illumination device 22 includes an optical component 60 formed with a light branching section 65, and the optical branching section 65 is formed with a first lightguide section 61 for emitting low angle rays of light to a near area by making part of the second illuminating rays of light transmitted in the optical component 60 be refracted on a first outer surface 61a, and formed with a second lightguide section 62 for emitting second rays of light to the far area by making part of the transmitted second illuminating rays of light be refracted on a second outer surface 62a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
