Modular support structure for constructing roofing using photovoltaic and/or thermal solar panels

A support structure for constructing water-tight roofing using modules (12) formed by photovoltaic and/or thermal solar panels comprises longitudinal elements (11), which are arranged between a series of aligned modules (12), and transverse elements (13) situated between one module and the next one in each series. The longitudinal elements (11) comprise in turn a bottom profile (20), a middle profile (25) and a covering profile (42) arranged on top of each other and interconnected with one other. The bottom profile has a cross-section in the form of an overturned T with side flanges (21) intended to be fastened onto a surface (18) to be covered with the structure. The middle profile (25) is mounted on top of the bottom profile (20) and has at the bottom a central groove (26) which slidingly receives a top end of the bottom profile. The form of the middle profile is such as to grip insulating panels and support the modules arranged between two adjacent longitudinal elements. Moreover, each side flange (27) of the middle profile has, as one piece therewith, a box-shaped part (32) which forms or receives a duct (17) which extends along the entire longitudinal element and which is intended to form the return line for a fluid flowing out of the interconnected thermal solar panels which are present between a pair of longitudinal elements (11).
