PURPOSE: A logging method and a device thereof are provided to efficiently log channel states or connection failure. CONSTITUTION: A control part (1320) tries random access. If failure of the random access is detected, the control part logs information about the failure. If success of the random access is detected, a transceiver (1300) transmits information about failure logged before the success to a connected base station. The information about failure includes at least one among an indicator, indicating whether required power at the point of the failure exceeded maximum power, and an indicator about the number of preambles which were tried for transmission in the random access process.
