This simple tool enables electric / fibre optic cable to be routed through inaccessible places. A lead tube (Fig 1) is cut at an angle at one end 3, one or more middle tubes (Fig 2) have threads 2, 5 at each end, and a feed tube (Fig 3) is cut open horizontally and then at an angle to provide easy access 7 for the cable. The tubes are screwed together to the required length and pushed through the cavity. The cable can easily be pushed through the tube and retrieved at the far end. The cable can then be cut to length and the tubes pulled back off the cable and disassembled ready for re-use. The lead tube can be detected using a metal detector and if necessary access to the destination area opened up. The feed tube may have a transverse bar 6 to aid manipulation.
