Method and device for producing a laminating film

The method involves applying heated viscous adhesive material on the surface of a transparent plastic film. The plastic film is passed over a rotating drum. The roughness of the one surface area of rotating drum is larger than the roughness of the other surface area. Some regions of the adhesive layer are imprinted based on the surface roughness of the corresponding regions of adhesive layer. The viscosity of the adhesive layer is increased, while cooling the adhesive layer so that adhesive material is solidified. An independent claim is included for apparatus for producing laminating film.
