PURPOSE: A sliding rod for a ground excavator is provided to reduce the risk of overturning by moving the crane center of gravity to the bottom when extending a screw rod. CONSTITUTION: A sliding rod for a ground excavator comprises a sliding rod, a screw rod (40), and an auger. The sliding rod penetrates the protrusion part at one bottom end of the auger to vertically move and comprises a long cylindrical caliber (30) which rotates through the auger. The screw rod is detachably attached to the bottom end of the sliding rod. A guide groove (32) is longitudinally equipped in the caliber to guide the auger in the longitudinal direction of the outer circumference of the caliber. The caliber and screw rod are rotated by the auger. The auger vertically slides by the guide groove of the caliber.
